He spent his formative years in Louisiana, accepted the Lord as his personal Saviour when he was nine years old, and surrendered to preach when he was thirteen. He married Carolyn Fitzpatrick on June 9, 1963. They now reside in Burleson, Texas. God has blessed Dr. and Mrs. Weaver with two children and seven grandchildren.
In 1967 Dr. Weaver answered God’s call after graduating from Bible Baptist Seminary and became the Youth Pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church in Roanoke, Virginia until 1970. He started two Spanish Ministries, one of which became a church plant. Under his leadership Worth annually supported over 150 missionaries and gave millions of dollars to world evangelism.
