Adult Ministry

Adult Sunday School

Our classes minister to adults of all ages and stages. There are a variety of ways you can help including coordinating events, teaching, or discipleship. Earl Sides, Discipleship Director

Singles Ministry

Whatever your age may be, single adults need friendship, wisdom, and an opportunity to use your abilities and availability in God’s plan. Help be a part of their lives by volunteering to help with different activities available during the year. We have classes for college age, career age, and older single. Women of Worth

The Women of Worth Ministry was started by women who love serving the Lord and want to see other women grow in their relationship with Him. These ladies host annual luncheons and Retreats. This group also leads Thursday Visitation. Tori Gillit, Director

Senior Citizens

Our senior citizen meet the 4th Tuesday every month at 11 a.m. for an exciting time of fellowship and Bible teaching, followed by a potluck meal. Also, members of Worth go to visit senior citizens each week who cannot make it to church due to illness. Terry Riggsby, Senior Citizen’s Minister

Special Needs

Our VIP class serves people of all ages with Special Needs. If you are interested, join us every Sunday morning at 10 AM. Aaron Smith, VIPs Director

Music Ministry

We are always on the lookout for more to join the adult choir! This choir prepares two distinct God-honoring choir songs for each Sunday. It meets every Sunday Morning at 9 AM, Sunday evening at 5 PM, and additional practices once a month on Tuesday evening at 7.

Also, If you play piano, organ, strings, harp, woodwind, brass, or any other instrument, there are plenty of opportunities to use your abilities through our Orchestra, Bell Choirs, Sunday School, and offertories every service. The musicians that provide vocal solos, duets, trios, quartets, and ensembles come from our choirs. Andrew Johnson, Music Minister

Nursey

Our Nursery is spotless, secure, and well-staffed with experienced, caring volunteers. We serve newborns and toddlers through Age 3.

Children's Sunday School

If you enjoy teaching children, the nursery, children’s Sunday School, or teen Sunday School is a great way to get involved! Every child will have an opportunity to hear the good news of the gospel clearly. They are taught the doctrine of the Bible in an exciting way.

Junior Church

During the morning service, Children from ages 4 up to 12th grade will listen to Illustrated Bible lessons, sing together, and memorize scripture.

Master Clubs

Children get to play games, discover life-changing truth in God’s Word, and enjoy spending time with friends.

Children's Choir

Primary Choir, Age 3-1st Grade, directed by Nancy Gaymon. Junior Choir, 2nd Grade-6th Grade, directed by Karen McGuire. These groups give children an opportunity to learn God-honoring choir music. Each group sings quarterly, for special events, and for their own Christmas Program. They meet every Sunday evening at 5 PM.

Good News Clubs

Good News Clubs reach children at local elementary schools through after-school Bible Clubs. We have five clubs that need volunteers

Bus Ministry

The Bus Ministry is a home mission outreach of Worth Baptist Church established for the sole purpose of introducing boys & girls, men & women to the saving knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and maturing them through the Word of God. Be a part of this team every Saturday morning at 10 AM to invite people to come and every Sunday morning to bring them to church.

Youth Ministry

The teenage years can be some of the most challenging and confusing, but also the most exciting years of a person’s life. Be a part of their lives by helping with outings, annual Camps, Sunday School, Wednesday Night meetings, youth activities, Teen Choir, weekly outreach, camps, mission trips, and much more.

Teen Visitation

Meets every Saturday at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall.

Our 7th – 12th graders pass out tracts, go door to door, and visit prospects and guests.

This program is for grades 7-12. They meet every Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM.

Department Hispanpo

Outreach

House to House

Meets every Saturday at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall.

Pair up with an experienced partner as we visit prospects, new move-ins, and go house to house with the Gospel.

Missions

We are active in planting churches in our area and taking short-term missions trips that engage our people in the mission of making disciples from all nations. If you are interested in short-term missions please contact Youth Pastor Tony Sengmany.

Tarrant County College South

Thursday at 11 AM.

Hand out snacks, water, and church invitations to the over 8,000 students at TCC South.

Refugee Ministry

Meets every Monday at 6:30 PM. Children’s Ministry, soul-winning, and food/brochure distribution. There is also an upcoming opportunity to be involved in weekly mentoring and the assistance of newly arrived refugees.

Nursing Home Ministry

Meets Sundays at 2 PM.

If you can sing, preach, or be a friend the Lord can use you to minister at an area nursing home. Ministries are starting at three nursing homes close to the church.

Food Pantry

Meets every Monday at 8:30 AM

Distribute food, clothing, and the Gospel to some of Fort Worth’s neediest residents.

Addictions Recovery

These meetings are designed to lead those struggling with addictions and stubborn habits to the only Truth that can set them free. Come be a part of this great ministry every Friday night at 7. Earl Sides, Discipleship Director
