Meet the pastor and church leadership team.
Tyler Gillit
Senior Pastor
Pastor Tyler Gillit became Worth’s Senior Pastor in January of 2016 after he served on staff for eight years. Pastor Gillit graduated with a Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree from The Crown College in 2006 and a Master of Ministries Degree from Crown Seminary in 2007 and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2024. He and Tori were married in 2006 and they have two children, Will and Anna. He is passionate about expository preaching and making disciples in Fort Worth and around the world.
Earl Sides
Discipleship Pastor
Pastor Earl Sides joined the Worth Baptist Church staff in March of 2016 as the Discipleship Pastor. He and his wife Niki have been married for over 30 years and have three sons, a daughter-in-law, and two fantastic grandchildren.
Pastor Sides has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Christian counseling and is certified as a biblical counselor by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). Along with his other accomplishments, he serves on the leadership team of Bridge to Recovery Addictions Ministry, writing curriculum and assisting in training. He also serves on the Board of Directors at Southland Christian Camp.
Pastor Sides has over forty years of experience in ministry to teens, adults, and children.
Cory McGuire
Music Minister
Cory McGuire serves as the Music Minister at Worth Baptist Church and leads the Crossroads Young Adult Sunday School Class. He also directs Camp Liberty, a summer ministry in Oakwood, Texas, dedicated to reaching young people for Christ.
Cory grew up at Worth Baptist Church and joined the pastoral staff in 2019. He and his wife, Heidi, have served in full-time ministry since 2009, with previous roles in youth and music ministry in Abilene, Texas, and Minster, Ohio. Both Cory and Heidi are graduates of Pensacola Christian College and are the proud parents of four daughters, Emma, Kate, Abby, and Eden.
Tony Sengmany
Youth Pastor
Tony Sengmany joined the Worth Baptist Church staff as Youth Pastor in September 2016. He graduated from The Crown College with a Bachelor in Youth Ministry Degree in 2006 and a Master of Ministry Degree in 2007.
Before working at Worth, he served in youth ministry at Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee, for eight years under the leadership of Dr. Clarence Sexton. Tony and Rachel were married in June of 2007 and have four children, Jonathan, Esther, Joy, and Naomi.
Allen Little
Children's Ministry Pastor
Allen Little serves as the Children’s Ministry Pastor at Worth Baptist Church. He holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Temple Baptist College, a Master’s of Religious Education, and a Bachelor of Arts from Great Plains Baptist University. He also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Vernon College, along with a Nursing degree from Vernon College.
Throughout his years of ministry, Pastor Little has faithfully served in a variety of roles, including Youth Pastor, Bus Director, Assistant Pastor, and Pastor. These experiences have given him a deep love for people and a strong foundation in teaching and shepherding families.
Allen and his wife, Alicia Little, have been married for 27 years and are the proud parents of seven children.
He is passionate about valuing people, reaching them with the Gospel, and teaching the Word of God. Christ is his life, and God’s Word is his passion.
Paul BolĂvar
Spanish Pastor
Pastor Paul BolĂvar graduated with a Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree from West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California, in 2013. The following year, he began serving as Assistant Pastor and Music Director at Bible Baptist Church of Long Beach, California, under the leadership of Pastor Luis Parada, where he served from 2014 onward. During that time, he was involved in outreach, worked with youth, and ministered weekly in public high school Bible clubs.
He married the girl of his dreams, Amber, in 2020, and together they have been happily serving the Lord since then.
In August 2024, Pastor BolĂvar was called to be Worth Baptist Church's Spanish Pastor. He is passionate about making disciples in the Hispanic community of Fort Worth, the Metroplex, and around the world.
John Foster
Recovery Pastor
John Foster joined Worth Baptist’s staff in July 2016 in a custodial role while studying at Norris Bible Baptist Seminary. After graduating in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree, Majoring in Bible and a Minor in Church Ministry, John began and is currently pursuing Biblical Counseling Certification.
In September 2022, John began leading the Overcomers Sunday school class, then in February 2024 took leadership of the Bridge to Recovery ministry. John and his wife, Holly, have been redeemed by God’s grace from the bondage of addiction, as well as other life dominating sins. God has called them to help others gain freedom over life dominating sin and live the abundant life Jesus came to give.
