At Worth Baptist Church, there’s a place for everyone to grow, serve, and belong. This page of ministries highlights a wide variety of opportunities designed to meet the spiritual needs of every age and life stage—from children and teens to adults and seniors. Whether you’re looking to deepen your faith, build lasting friendships, or make a difference in the lives of others, you’ll find a ministry where you can connect and thrive.
Nursery & Children's Ministries
Jesus said, "Let the little children come unto me..." (Matthew 19:14) Our nursery and children’s ministries serve infants through 6th grade and their families. We provide nursery care and age-graded Bible classes during every service. The nursery ministry allows parents to attend and benefit from fellowship, worship, and Bible teaching while their little ones are cared for by loving volunteers. Newborns through 24 months are in the Infant rooms, and children 2–3 years are in the Toddler room, where they participate in songs and Bible lessons.
Children ages 4 through 2nd grade attend Children’s Church during the Sunday morning service, where they enjoy interactive Bible lessons, singing, and hands-on activities. 3rd–6th graders attend Junior Church, which mirrors the main auditorium service in a way that’s age-appropriate. WBC Kids Sunday School offers foundational, engaging Bible teaching for K–6th grade. On Sunday nights, children (ages 3–6th grade) meet for Children’s Choir at 4:45 p.m. to learn songs that help solidify biblical truth. On Wednesday nights, Master Clubs provides kids with Bible memory, activities, and discipleship opportunities through games, lessons, and award-based progress. Read More >
All children’s workers undergo background checks and safety training.
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry is led by Tony and Rachel Sengmany, who have served in local church youth ministries for 18 years. With a team of youth volunteers, they help students grow in their love for God, knowledge of His Word, and service to others.
Teens meet weekly for Sunday School at 10:00 AM and on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM. They also enjoy monthly youth activities and annual events like summer camps, winter retreats, and mission trips. Read More >

Nursing Home Ministry
The Nursing Home Ministry at Worth Baptist Church shares the love of Christ with residents in local care facilities through weekly visits, congregational singing, Bible preaching, and prayer. Our volunteers bring comfort, joy, and the hope of the Gospel to those who can no longer attend church, reminding them they are loved and not forgotten.

Our music ministry includes adult choir, orchestra, handbells, special music, teen choir, and children’s choirs. Choir rehearses Sundays at 9:00 AM and 4:45 PM. Teen Choir rehearses Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, and Children’s Choir on Sundays at 4:45 PM. All aspects of the music ministry aim to glorify God and prepare hearts through Christ-honoring worship.
